  Tldr: Mean Girls Salon with minimal talent
  
  I went to this salon for my first hair and make up trial for my upcoming wedding. When I called and made the appointment, I actually talked to the stylist who confirmed my Sunday wedding date would be available and I email a few photos of how I'd like my hair.
  
  Cue the actual trial: The make up was good, make up artist friendly enough, and that's as good as this review gets.
  
  My hair experience was not the same. So I show her the inspiration pics again (a 4 strand braid) and she flat out says "it's pretty, but I can't do it." So her first attempt of a waterfall braid and curls is tragic. She rallies and does a couple of Dutch braids... It's better but absolutely something I could have done myself. Oh well. Meanwhile this stylist was nice enough to me but making fun of another client of hers. Not cool. Maybe I could have lived with it if my hair had wowed me.
  
  Meanwhile, another stylist has arrived and between the two, they're now picking on the receptionist. I was a receptionist for 5 years in a nicer salon than this, so I'm dying inside. Come to find out the second stylist is the owner...
  
  Time to pay up and make my escape and somehow I'm still telling myself this place could work because my wedding doesn't need to be my Pretty Princess Day, the location is convenient, and I've already invested time and money here.
  
  So here comes the real snafu. As I'm paying, I confirm again that my Sunday date is good to go... Here comes the owner to say they DON'T DO Sundays. Well someone told me via email that the date is good. Oh no, it's the brand new receptionist, the nicest person in this mix! I say, hey, accidents happen, we've all been new... That's not good enough for salon owner who is glaring daggers at this girl. Salon owner acts like she's doing me a favor by explaining they'll do my wedding but at an increased cost.
  Trying to keep this situation cool, I ask her to email me the contract with pricing and I'll look it over when I get home.
  I get the contract and a long apology email from the receptionist. Girl, you were the smallest problem of the day! Months later, I'm still hoping this nice young lady has found a kinder group to work for.
  
  This was originally a one star review with no details and now it's a novella... And I'm not even done!
  
  The owner actually called me and left a guilt trip of a voicemail about making me a gift basket and refunding some of my money. So I call her back, she only mentions the gift basket because it was a shame she made it for me to never respond to the contract email...I really didn't have it in me at the time to explain all this, I didn't want to argue and that seemed like a path she was ready to take.
  
  I'm fairly certain she reads these reviews so I really want to be clear why there is this one star review.
  
  Be kind to your staff, don't trash talk other clients (especially about their physical appearance that presumably can't be helped) and update your website if you charge extra/don't do Sunday events.
