  First ER was great. They put me straight in a room and took great care of me. I was admitted, and stayed a week on the 6th floor. The food was great, and you really do feel like you are almost in a resort! I can't believe the people who wrote these bad reviews were in the same place! The nurse and techs (specifically Theresa, Jessica, and Fran) treated me like family! They were kind and made sure I had everything I needed.
  Then there was a nurse named Christine. I would say she treated me like family, but my family has never treated me so good! From the first minute, she made me feel like my care was the most important priority in her life! Both my roommate and I could not believe it. She explained every new medication I was given, and why I needed them. All week she spoke to me with such kindness and patience I was sad to be leaving! These people who said they only want your money should know this; when the pharmacy showed up with the supplies I would need for my diabetes ( another kind thing they took care of) I was horrified and embarrassed to realize I had left for the ER without my wallet! I could not even pay the copay! This angel was so worried I had everything I needed that she went into her own pocket to pay for them! When I said I would be right back she insisted that she did not want me to pay her back! Now tell me, where are you ever going to find care like that??? I will never go to any other hospital if I can help it!!

  My husband had surgery there, the staff on the surgical wing were great, surgery did not start on time, his Dr is great, but he didn't get a bed until 7pm. The hospital side was totally different as the food was horrible as well as most of the staff. It's all about how much money they can make and not patient care. It is a joke when you see the sign that says quiet please as you need to have the staff read it as they sound like they are having a party in the halls. Hopefully we Will never need to go back there. It's to bad you don't have a competent person in charge.
