  The front desk employees have no understanding of customer service -- unfortunately cold and unfriendly employees. I need to pick up a simple flea med. I found out that 1-800-Pet-Meds is mailing prescriptions for 20% off. I asked for a prescription to order through them. The told me that they would charge $10 for a piece of paper authorizing. I have never encountered such a thing at any other vet. Unfortunately, this vet is not concerned about your pets well-being it seems. I work in Clearwater, but I live in downtown Saint Pete. Maybe since it is a more dog-friendly city, there will be better doggy doctors in dtsp. I have been going here for two years now. The doctor is friendly, but the remainder of the staff makes the experience so unpleasant. Therefore, I must say: so long, A Pet’s Place. We are off to find a place our 7-yr old forever-puppy will be treated with the care she deserves. ❤️
