  My mom has been in pain for over a year under the care of this dr. Finally telling her she had IBS. Well while "home" for the summer she got severely sick and went to the ER when indeed they found out she was in stage 4 mesothemiola. He approved her visit to the best Mesothemiola team in the country. Yet when it came down to her tests and surgeries she needed ASAP he denied to authorize that for her to the insurance company, saying she could come back to Florida for treatment she is out of network. Well how is she getting there as she is not only home laying in pain but also fighting for treatment. She is NOT going back to florida with no family to surround her. I work where I have to advocate for people all the time with insurance, I work for our clients NOT the insurance, as I would think a health care "professional" would do. But this all comes down to $$$$$ instead. He not only has been misdiagnosing her but doesn't even have the decency to give the referral for her treatment. It's pretty sad when even a nurse at Humana Insurance fought with her authorities to please find a way to pass this on. So I pray the nobody else in his care has to endure this or better yet someone in his own family is denied treatment all do with money. I do not know how this man feels good about what he does I thought Dr. FOUGHT to save lives. My mother was given a few months without treatment and we are going into week 3 all do to his negligence. We were willing to get over the misdiagnosis after all we are all human, but this was a conscious decision on his part.
