  Picture this: WalMart at midnight, 0 checkout lanes manned. All checkout traffic is routed to the self checkout "corral". 12 carts backed up outside the self checkout. 2 female employees in the area just chatting and directing customers to the next checkout. Myself, in a wheelchair cart, trying to checkout, load bags, and place.them back in the yet to be emptied cart. No assistance is offered at all. After completing all transactions, I asked employees why disabled patrons were not assisted, her reply was," oh we'll help if someone specifically asks for assistance".
  
  First of all, expedite shopping, open a register to speed the process.
  
  Second, be a human being and offer to assist at least.
  
  "Customer service drives the return customer bus".

  It's a great place to buy once you learn the "lay of the Land" but I do not "shop" as you would other stores because it's generally too busy to enjoy browsing the aisles. In other words get in and get out the best you can. Prices typically a little better than most.
  
  The exception to the crowd is early Sunday morning. I go right after early Mass (Church) arriving typically before 7:30 a.m..
